Absentee Ballot processors in Minneapolis hit some unprecedented milestones this week. Yesterday the 100,000th ballot was mailed out. To put that into context— for the 2016 Primary Mpls AB board mailed out 3,500 ballots, and for the 2018 Primary 8,600 ballots were mailed. Also, on August 4, more ballots were accepted in one day than during the entirety of the 2018 Primary.
